WELCOME TO THE UNFPA CONSULTANT ROSTER

The Consultant Roster provides UNFPA with an updated list of technical experts in fields related to UNFPA’s mandate. It replaces Expert Easy and will be used to fill positions at UNFPA Headquarters, Regional and Country Offices.

Who should apply?

Qualified experts worldwide who are available for short-term and/or temporary assignments are invited to apply. In general, candidates must have an advanced degree and international expertise in at least one of the specialized fields, which include reproductive health, gender, culture, human rights, demography, community mobilization, monitoring and evaluation, HIV/AIDS, youth, advocacy, communication, logistics and more.

What is the process to become active on the Consultant Roster?

Step 1REGISTRATION
Enter your name and e-mail address, then click Register Now. Within a few minutes, you will receive an email from the system. Please click on the validation link in the message. The validation link will only be valid for 72 hours from when the registration request was created.

Upon clicking the validation link, you will be asked to choose a password. Enter your password and click Next. The system will display your username. Be sure to write down both your username and password. In general, the username is the first part of your e-mail address, before the @ symbol. For example, if your e-mail address is someone@company.com, your username will be 'someone'.

Step 2BUILD YOUR RESUME
Click Build Your Resume to begin entering information about your skills, education, expertise, professional affiliations, publications, employment history, rates and availability. You will also be asked to provide three references. You may save your application at any point and return to it later.

Step 3SUBMISSION AND REVIEW
After the final submission button is clicked, data will go for final review by an approving officer(s). If you are already registered with the Expert Easy system, and your profile has been updated during the last three years, your profile has been migrated and you can request the username and password from: consultantrosterhelpdesk@unfpa.org.

Step 4JOB MATCHING
UNFPA will match applicants with assignments based on the skills and qualifications presented. If an appropriate assignment is available, you will be contacted for an interview. At the completion of each assignment, an evaluation will be entered by your supervisor, which becomes part of your profile.
5KEEPING YOUR PROFILE CURRENT
Candidates will receive an automatic message on a yearly-basis indicating when they should update their profile data. All profiles that are not updated within a three-year span, will be move to an ‘arcade’ section. Profiles that remain inactive for five years will be moved to an archive. Users will receive an automatic notification of the status of their profile whenever it changes.

If you experience technical difficulties with the Consultant Roster application, please send a detailed description of the problem and/or a copy of the error message to web.applications@unfpa.org.
